Blankenberge inaugurates first 5 maritime heritage signs in harbour

The first 5 signs of 33 in total describing Blankenberge's maritime heritage have been officially inaugurated.

The signs will be placed along the most prominent remnants of Blankenberge's maritime heritage, for example the harbour, the pier, the belle epoque quarter, the old fishing houses,... The signs are made of durable and maintenance friendly materials. They are placed in such a way that they are also accessible for wheelchair users. These signs are funded by the ERDF through the 2 seas project HMS.
