De Lijn wins heritage prize of the province of West-Flanders

As part of the HMS project public transportation company De Lijn celebrated the 125 years existance of the belgian coastal tram in 2010. The festivities included but were not limited to a historical tram parade, a publication, an exhibition and oral history interviews.

The effort De Lijn put into the project were recently rewarded by the province of West-Flanders. De Lijn was chosen amongst 31 nominees as winner of the heritage prize. This prize is a real boost for De Lijn and the HMS project! It not only shows the quality of our initiatives, but it also shows the appreciation for them by the outside world!
