Coastal Lives

'Coastal lives' is a cross cutting theme addressed by all partners in order to contribute to the social cohesion of the Two seas region. This activity focuses on the stories and the people behind the heritage. For instance the underlying personal stories of the fishermen’s wives who stayed ashore, of ferrycrew, of harbour workers or lighthouse keepers. This ‘oral history’ aspect is a cross-cutting item in our three activity blocks. The common coastal lives of the 2seas region will be brought to life by recording stories and by presenting them here.
