Pilots

With its many shoals and treaturous currents, the North Sea is a dangerous sea to navigate. At the same time it is one of the busiest seas in the entire world. Many ships from all over the world pass through the North Sea to deliver their trade goods. Foreign ships often lack knowledge of the currents and shoals and have to rely on pilots to navigate through the North Sea. Pilots have a thorough knowledge of the waters they navigate ships in and are able to prevent accidents from happening.
